Brad Michaels, Service Technician NATE ID#1024065
Brad grew up on a dairy farm in Sandusky County. One of his first jobs
was running gas lines for a utility company. Brad joined our team in
1997 as an installer. He enjoys staying abreast of the latest
technologies and is very skilled at diagnosing even the most advanced
electronic furnace controls. Brad specializes in indoor air quality for
homeowners with allergies. Brad is also EPA & NATE certified.
Chris Williams, Installation Technician
Chris grew up in Springboro. He trained in Industrial Maintenance at
the Warren County Career Center. In January 2005, Chris graduated
from RETS Technical Center with a certificate in HVAC. He holds a
Middletown Journeyman license, a Universal CFC license, and a NATE
certification.
Daniel McNew, Installation Technician
Daniel began apprenticing with us in July of 2005. He graduated from
Miami Valley CTC in June 2006 with an HVAC certificate. Daniel holds
a Universal and an Automotive CFC license. He is also skilled in small
engine repair and MIG & ARC welding.
Dave Lambert, Service Dispatcher
Dave has been answering the phone and keeping the service
technicians organized for over six years. In the past, he has worked as
a pressman and a videographer. Dave enjoys grilling, tennis, reading
biographies of great leaders, and helping with his wife's reupholstering
business.
David Watkins, Service Manager NATE ID#1023223
David is the third generation of Watkins' in the HVAC business. He
does our bookkeeping, marketing, purchasing, and technical support.
David took mechanical engineering and business administration in
college and has had many hours of factory training over the years. He
is NATE & EPA certified for service on all equipment, and he holds the
company's state brazing & pressure piping certification. David lives in
Springboro with his wife and three children.
David M. Watkins Jr., Oct 17, 1938 - Aug 23, 2003
"Grandpa" got his start in air conditioning with the U.S. Air Force. After
his tour in 1963, he worked for Honeywell as a commercial service
technician. In 1979 he started Meridian Mechanical in Middletown, Ohio
and met the HVAC needs of many businesses and factories for over
fifteen years. In 2003, shortly after retiring, he lost his battle with
cancer. He has been greatly missed.
Jeremy Jackson, Installation Technician
Jeremy has been installing and servicing HVAC systems for six years.
He received his HVAC training at RETS Technical Center and has
many hours of factory training from Trane. Jeremy is a craftsman
through and through, and he takes a lot of pride in his work. He holds
a universal CFC license and is currently studying for his NATE test.
Marty Watkins, Service Technician NATE ID#1024066
Marty started his apprenticeship with the union in 1987, and became
an MES Journeyman. Growing up in the business, Marty has many
years of experience and training. In 1995, Marty began helping Randy
with the new business and he's been a valuable team member ever
since. Marty is NATE & CFC certified. He is an expert on large
commercial heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems. Marty lives in
Lebanon with his wife and four sons.



Randy Watkins, Owner NATE ID#1023221
Randy graduated from Middletown High School in 1976, and, after
shadowing his dad on a few service calls, he became interested in the
HVAC industry. In '78, he passed his Middletown journeyman exam,
and began an apprenticeship with the Pipefitters Union. In 1985, while
working for McGraw Construction, he received his master license for
HVAC. In 1993, he started Watkins Mechanical, hired his brother, his
son, and a few friends, and began providing top quality service to
homeowners in the Miami Valley. Randy currently holds State of Ohio
Master licenses for HVAC, plumbing, hydronics, electric, and
refrigeration.
