Product Information
The Trane XV20i variable speed heat pump is one of the most efficient air source heat pumps on the market. The XV20i qualifies as a “Cold-Climate Heat Pump,” meaning that it can maintain high heat output even in northern climates such as Dayton, Ohio. An XV20i heat pump system is the perfect choice for a homeowner looking for the best comfort, reliability, and efficiency on the market.
Powered by an inverter-driven compressor, its capacity adjusts in tiny increments to perfectly match its power to the current heating and cooling needs of your home. Longer runtime at lower speeds reduces wear and tear from starting and stopping. This enables the XV20i heat pump to deliver super quiet operation, unmatched comfort, and incredible humidity removal in the summer.
The estimated cost range you see above covers the purchase and installation of the XV20i heat pump unit alone, without air handler or furnace. The advanced technology in the XV20i requires installation with matching indoor equipment, either a compatible Trane communicating air handler or gas furnace with evaporator coil. Our recommendation is either the Trane TAMX Hyperion Air Handler or the Trane XC95m Furnace.
Providing exact pricing online is very difficult. Every home and installation comes with its own challenges. Our mission is to educate homeowners, equipping them to make the best decision for their home and budget. If your home needs a smaller 2 ton unit, and your original ductwork was engineered and installed correctly, you can expect an installed cost on the low end of this range.
We would love to help you with the next step in your project. During a free in-home estimate, our comfort advisors will perform a detailed heat load calculation on your home and analyze your existing ductwork to correct hot and cold spots as well as provide good airflow to your new heat pump system. We promise honest advice with no sales pressure! Book an appointment online today.
