The Trane Hyperion™ Air Handler is a strong middle option when you want a better indoor cabinet and coil setup without stepping into the top variable-speed communicating air handler. This page likely replaces your older GAM5 Hyperion page.
This model keeps the Hyperion-style cabinet benefits, but it uses constant torque airflow instead of the full variable-speed setup.
It can make sense when you want a quieter, more durable indoor unit for a practical heat pump or A/C system, but do not need the most advanced Trane Link® air handler.
