The Trane XL15i is Trane’s highest efficiency single-stage heat pump. The XL15i builds on the XR15 heat pump, adding the WeatherGuard Top, quieter operation, and a 12-year limited warranty on the compressor. Because of the single-stage simplicity, this unit can be controlled with nearly any thermostat and is compatible with most any new or old furnace of any brand. It is available in 1.5 to 5-ton models offering up to 16.00 SEER2. It features a Spine Fin™ condenser coil, a swept fan blade, and a Climatuff™ compressor, all protected by the WeatherGuard™ Top.
