Joe was not very communicative, and didn't know why he was there. I let him know we had a gas leak and gave him the tag from Duke Energy, but he laid it aside and began looking for a water leak. After we explained again it was a gas leak, he proceeded to pick up the gas sniffer we had lying on our table and attempted to improperly use it. My husband suggested he use what he was accustomed to, which he then did after retrieving it from his truck. Then, he rerouted the entire system and added a shut-off valve without letting us know what he was going to do (all that was needed was to tighten a gas connection). We have plans on eliminating our gas system in a couple months, so we weren't needing a shut off valve. Currently, there is a NEW leak where he cut and rerouted pipes. I think someone needs to check his work. The bill is high considering the fact we didn't ask for anything he did, and he never asked us if it was okay to do all that he did. We literally thought he was just going to tighten the pipe that was leaking gas.

The crew of guys arrived early on the day of the install as agreed. Parts were shipped in as needed and on demand.
